GetPitch stress tests the pitching platform at the INSEAD Entrepreneurship Bootcamp au Chateau Vaugouard
http://bootcampblog.getpitch.com
Over the course of an intensive 48 hours, the MBA students at the INSEAD Entrepreneurship Bootcamp March 25-27, 2011 learned how to turn a basic business idea into a pitchable startup.
Bootcamp participants considered over 30 entrepreneurial ideas on Friday night, ultimately forming 9 project teams of three or four people. They worked tirelessly on the development of their business plans, financial models and value propositions. In the final hours, they had to pitch their businesses to VCs Nicolas Tcherdakoff and Emanuele Levi who, after three rounds, chose a winner and gave feedback to all.
Announcing the Beta version of GetPitch.com – Facebook meets Youtube!

We have just launched the beta version of GetPitch (www.getpitch.com). We hope you will help us test the site and let us know what you think!
What is GetPitch? Whether you are pitching yourself, your idea, or your product, GetPitch provides the platform for you to get practice and get useful, private feedback on what you have to say and how you say it. You can upload a video of the pitch you want to test and choose how it gets reviewed: through peer-to-peer exchange, from invited contacts or from professional coaches. Getting and giving feedback helps you get perspective and get your pitch ready for when it counts. Check out our pitch at: http://www.getpitch.com/getpitch_pitch.php.
We will soon be adding the functionality of ‘Groups’ so that people can choose to exchange within a network of people with common interests or experience. This functionality could also allow coaches/trainers/communication consultants to set up their own ‘channel’ to provide practice/feedback support for their clients in a more bespoke way. Private white label versions are also in the works for sales organisations, associations and other services. Let us know if you have any needs or leads.
We look forward to seeing you on GetPitch and getting your feedback!
Spread the word …
Just gone through the “frog process” on the theme “financing innovation and supporting entrepreneurs”
Interesting process.
We turned the traditional VC /Entrepreneur model on it's head.
Listed the things taken for granted, listed some provocations that challenged the traditional approach, chose the boldest provocations and came up with the following crazy fresh ideas:
- Create VC Entrepreneurship schools for kids.
- VCs obliged to donate cash to a grant fund.
- Reinsure the investment risk to free up investment capital and lower the risk barrier.
